A MUSICAL RECITAL.The pupils of Miss Elizabeth Mettler grave their mid-winter recital last Saturday afternoon at her studio in South llohman street. The recital was anticipated with a groat deal of pleasure, as it was among: the leading music events of winter and Is largely attended. At 3 o’clock, the hour for the entertainment. the parlors were filled with the pupils and their invited friends ami relatives. The program was well rendered and was thoroughly enjoyed by all present, and during the remainder of the afternoon the guests met socially for conversation.
