33rd Wedding AnniversaryYates Cityans CelebrateYATES CITY - Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Bird were surprised on their 33rd wedding anniversary in their home Saturday at a par ty planned by their two daughters, Miss Dianne Bird, student at Western Illinois University at Macomb, and Mrs. James Dug gins of Yates City.A large cake was decorated with three roses to represent each of their three children and six roses to represent each grandchild.Guests were Mr. and Mrs. Carlyle Bird, Linda, Kathy, Jimmy and Danny, of Monica; Mr. and Mrs. James Duggins, Rockie and Scottie, of Yates City; Mrs. William Burt and Sandra of Alton. Mrs. Burt is a sister of Mrs. Wayne Bird.They received carnations for each member of the family, and other presents for the home.Mrs. Blust HonoredMrs. Harlen Blust, who celebrated her birthday Nov. 30, was honored at a dinner in Canton given by Mr. and Mrs. Herman Laurson Saturday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Blust were Sunday dinner guests of their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Garrett Jr., Mark and Lynden, and supper guests of her mother, Mrs. Millie Black in Hanna City in the evening. Miss Sharon Blust of Peoria spent the weekend with her parents.Joan is 4A party was given in the Dominic Capitani home Sunday honoring their son John, who celebrated his fourth birthday.Attending the party were Richard Lee Booth, Jerl Lynn and Billy Allen, Kathy Blodgett, Sue Breckenridge and Clark Zedric of Canton.
