Mr. and Mrs. Harry Swezey of Riverside, entertained several guests, in honor of their daughter, Janice, on her first birthday anniversary, Sunday, Dee. 1. The guests arrived about 3 p. hi., and a lovely dinner was served at 6 o’clock. Little Janice enjoyed the beautiful cake, with one gleaming candle. She received many lovely birthday gifts. Those present included Mrs. Fred Robert, and •daughter, Evelyn, and Mrs. Sophie j Phillipsen, of Congress Park, and several relatives from LaGrange. Mrs. Harry Swezey was formerly Gladys Hobert of Congress Park.
