Joint Services Set For ThreeKilled In WreckMIDDLESEX — Joint funeral services for Lena Mae Whitaker, 41, Jim Atlas Whitaker, 41, and their daughter. Denise Whitaker, 4, who were killed Sunday as the result of an automobile accident will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday from Sandy Fork Baptist Church in Nash County by the Kev. Frank Bullock Jr. Burial will be in Bean's Cemetery.Surviving the couple are three daughters, Earldean, Geraldine and Adary Whitaker; three sons, Raymond and Jerome Whitaker, all of the home and John Arthur of the U.S. Marines, Jacksonville.Surviving Mr. Whitaker are a sister, Mrs. Catherine Hannah of Spring Hope; three brothers, Aaron and King Solomon Whitaker, both of Washington and Richard Whitaker of Middlesex .Surviving Mrs. Whitaker are her mother, Mrs. Mary Leach; four brothers, Willie and John Earl, all of Sims; Roosevelt and Cleveland Leach, both of Wilson; and her grandmother, Mrs. Katie Crumel of Middlesex.
