BREY GETSCONTRACT FORSEWER,NEWBIDBid $75 Higher than First but $300 Lower than BahrAfter having one bid rejected because he neglected to file a certified check, Walter Brey was last night awarded the contract for sewers on North Twelfth and North Sixth streets on a second bid which is $75 higher than the bid he filed previously, but $300 lower than the original bid for the contracts filed by W. O. Bahr!' iand rejected as excessive. Brey’s1 latest bid is $1,009.Some question developed as to theinstallation of the sewer thjfs fall, Brey desiring to go ahead at once but he finally said that the bid would hold good for* the spring.
