Yesterday afternoon at about 7 01o’clock Mr. Mack Brantley, a prominent citizen of Nash court, died afterseveral months of bad health. Mr.Brantley was 79 years old.Mr. Brantley was a leading Re- apublican of his county and was post-iclt;master of Spring Hoie at the time nof his death.He was a member of the PrimitiveBaptist church and was held in highesteem by his fellow citizens.Mr. Brantley leaves his wife andseveral small children surviving. Thefuneral services were conducted inSpring Hope this afternoon by ElderP. D. Gold.
