Carthage Man’s Father Dies.• Carthage, Mo„ Aug. 28,—^. B. Blake of the Blake studio has received information of the death August 1? at Hios Angeles, Calif., of his father, J. D. Blake, 80 years old. Mr. Blake dropped dead While in the front yard at his home. Funeral services and burial were at {jOs Angeles, his home for the last 10 years.Surviving besides the son here are his widow, Mrs. Alice Blake, at home; two other sons, Bobert Blake, at home, and Harry Blake of Kansas City; two daughters, Mrs. Nina Welbaum’and Mrs. Nora Ikenbary, both of Independence, Kan,; a sister, Mrs. Joe Nollsch of Havana, Kan,; a brother, BriceBlake of Havana, and five grandchildren.
