Halvor OlsonThe remains of Halyor Olson, one of Gmmet county’s old and highly respected citizens were laid to rest last Friday in this city. Mr. Olson came here in 1866 when there was practically no one here. He took a homestead north of Esthervilie and has resided there on the one place since that time. He has reared a family and has been a man who has always lived in peace with his neighbors and we believe we can say he is a man without an enemy. He endured all the hardships of pioneer life. He stayed during the Grasshopper pesti~ lence when only a few remained.He was born October 6, 1839, in Naes Hallingdal, Norway. He came to America in 1862 and to Emmet6II
