By MRS. ROSE WINNICHUK We are really making progress in our West Drumheller. The curb and gutter crew have been working for the last three weeks. Now we are having brand new cement sidewalks poured across ‘the street, down along Tubby’s Garage. The house of Salvatore Enteprrizes in the ball park are not going up as fast as we would like to see them, but _ patience, patience and they will get done. Visiting at the home of John and Mary Kostiuk were son Al bert and Jean Kostiuk of White court. You want to ask them about the hail storm they exper ienced recently—have to replace the roof on their new house just under construction—the wind shield in the car had to be re placed, also the roof of the car was punctured by the hailstones. Other visitors were Mary's bro ther Nick and Annie Hrynyk, daughter Rita and Eric Aldridge, all of Edmonton, also Annie’s brother Jack Schmat and fam ily of Calgary. Mary Bosovich returned from a holiday spent with relatives in the Camrose district. While there she attended a real Ukrainian style wedding. Last week end she spent in Calgary with son Sandy and Donalda. Bill and Laura Worman have returned from 2 two weeks trip which took them through the Okanagan, at Vancouver they visited with Bill’s sister and then on to Ft. St. John where they visited with Laura’s _ brother | Louis and Lil Ezelyk and family. The two youngest Ezelyk ‘boys, Ronnie and Stanley, came out — their parents are coming shortly. Visiting at the home of Terry and Gussy Winnichuk in town were Gussy's friends from back home, Martin and Pauline Colo net and four children of Grim shaw. They were on their way home after a two months holiday which took them from Vancou ver to Prince Edward Island, and back. Please remember to cast your vote in the Provincial Election on Monday next, August 30. There will be two booths in the Ukrainian Hall as usual. Once again we welcome five newcomers, a third daughter hav ing been born to Danny and Shir ley Worman of Drumheller, Aug ust 17. Shirley went to visit her parents at Magrath and the baby decided to come there. Sisters Danielle Patricia and Kerry Lynn will be happy with their new sis ter Susan, Bill and Laura Wor man, proud grandparents, Stela Ezelyk, great-grandmother. Also a third child born to Terry and Gussy Winnichuk, a daugh ter, Sunday, August 22. Teresa and Travis are delighted with their new sister who weighed in at 7 lbs. 7 oz. That makes us grandparents once again. Helen Bianowski, Ronnie and Brenda accompanied Helen's sis ter and husband to Saskatchewan where they visited with relatives all last week. Patsy and Janet Wakaruk of a visited with their fa ther John. Congratulations to Les and Diana Keeping on their 2nd Wed ding Anniversary on August 23. Adeline Lesley, Laurie, Tracey and Leanne of Calgary spent sev eral days at the home of her sis ter Isabel and George Marquardt and family at Nacmine and re newed acquaintances here.
