An attempt was made at Marblehead on Monday night to bnrn the famous “Hotel Donohne,” The i seen diary filled a powder keg with a quantity of waste, used for wiping machinery, placed it tinder a portion of the build* log and set fire to it. The dwellers of Marblehead discovered the blaze in time to put it ont before it had gained any headway.
