Mrs. Harris (right) president of Shady Spring Homemakers Club is joined for a refreshment break by (from left) Miss Shelia Rakes, Mrs. Dewey Rakes, Mrs. Cam Thompson and Mrs. Eden Williams, all members of the Shady Spring club with theexception of Mrs. Thompson. She belongs to the Progressive Homemakers Club. Three homemakers clubs were represented by women taking part in the project. The applebutter will be displayed in the Raleigh County Homemakers Council booth at the Appalachian Art and Craft Festival starting Thursday.STARTING AT 7 a.m. a group of women met at the home of Mrs. Worthy Harris at Shady Spring for the annual applebutter making Wednesday.
