Janet and Ernest BeardBeardErnest and Janet Beard, 1022 East Elm St, will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary with a family dinner given by their son, nephew and nieces today.Ernest and the former Ada Janet Artis were married Aug, 15, 1959 at Historic Wayman Chapel. The Rev. Carr, of Second Baptist Church, officiated the ceremony.He is retired from Chrysler Die Cast.She is retired from Howard Community Hospital.They have one child, Kent A. Beard, Kokomo.
