Henry L. NokingServices for Henry L. Nolting, 86, of 6161 Logan Ave., and formerly of 508 First St., Washburn, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Garden View Chapel, 3655 Logan Ave., with burial in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.Mr. Nolting died Wednesday morning (Aug. 6) at the Bartels Lutheran Home, Waverly.He was bom Oct. 1,1899, in Tripoli, son of Levi and Anna Schnurstein Nolting. He married Florence A. Thurm on Aug. 21, 1952, in Monmouth, 111. She died March 22,1984.He was employed as a carpenter and then worked as a scaler at Rath Packing Co. for 22 years, retiring in 1964, He then worked as a general maintenance man at Gallagher, Lybert, Burk and Martin, attorneys, for 17 years, retiring in 1982.Survivors include a brother, Ervin of Minneapolis. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Herman, Fred and Albert; two sisters, Lula Wedemeier and Esther Nolting; and a half brother, Hay Biermann.Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m today and from 9 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral chapel.Memorials may be sent to the Bartels Lutheran Home.
