If saving lives is your thing, why don't you start a crusade where you can save 2Vi times that many lives. The latest national statistics say 25.000 people died because of alcohol. Granted you have pointed out this threat to all of us. You have not, however, addressed the problem and suggested any positive ways to prevent these deaths.You know what they are, but you don’t have the courage to propose it in your editorials. Why the reluctance?You don't spare the gun owners. Maybe the answer can be assumed by turning the pages and observing all the advertisements for liquor.The hyprocrisy of all this is enough to turn a thinking person's stomach. Obviously the dollars you earn through ad-vertising liquor outweighs any professed concern over liquor related dcatns.I suggest you look for an editorial job in Morton Grove and take Dick Case with you.BEN McGINLEY, Phoenix.
