Maine Woman Is the Mother of Twen* ty-Two While Indianian Has Niaeteen Children.Skowhegan, Me.—Mrs. Charles E. Dickey of Canaan, eight miles from this town, has just given birth to her twenty-second child. It is a girl and mother and daughter are doing well.Mr. and Mrs. Dickey were married 27 years ago. At one time it was necessary for the board of selectmen of Canaan to maintain a district school just for the Dickey children, all of whom are living.When Mrs. Dickey was married she was 14 years old and her husband was 18. They live on a farm, two miles beyond the village. He is a farmer and a prosperous one. Last Thanksgiving the father and .mother .sat down to dinner nad it required five turkeys.
