Riedel came to- southern Lewis county as a child with his parents,' Mr. and Mrs, Charles Riedel, who established one' of^he. first ‘ generSF stores at yeder, then known’'as ''Little Falls.He was educated in the local schools. For many years he had been associated with a brother, Chris Riedel, dn the operation ofa large apinry business at Taber,Alberta,, the latter being now in China planning a branch or their firm. Surviving relatives of the deceased are a six-year-old daughter, Barbara Jean of Seattle; two sisters, Miss Doris Riedel of Sen Francisco and Mrs. Clara Peterson of Palo Alto, Cal., and seven brothers; R-oland Riedel of New-hall, Herman of Nebraska, Grover of Alberta, Arthur and John of Portland, Ernest of Shelton and Chris, who is in the Orient.
