The Frisco Home Demonstration Club members honored Arthur Hall on his birthday Friday, April 23, at the Resthaven Nursing Home in Stonewall. Mr. Hall was celebrating his 85th birthday.The birthday honoree was seated at the center table. The14 other patients were seated at the three other tables.The birthday table was covered with a white embroidered cloth and held the birthday cake, atop a musical cake stand, and the punch bowl and cups were arranged around a basket of fruit.The cake, a deluxe pineapple 12 by 16 inches, two-layer cake,was made by Mrs. Simon Patton. Mrs. A. B. King made the punch slush.After the group sang Happy Birthday and the musical cake stand took its turn with the birthday song. Mrs. Patton served the cake, Mrs. King served the punch. jThe guests included the owners and nurses of the home, the15 patients and the members of the Frisco Club.
