SLOAN A ZOOK START BIG NEWOIL DEVELOPMENT AT BARNUMDrilling of several new wells, inauguration of modern flooding aya-tems and general development are expected soon by W. J. Sloan and Ralph T. Zook, both of Bradford, on the 421-acre oil tract bought last week from the May rock Oil Company. The property is near Barnuro.A similar program of progress probably will be started nn the 180-acre tract known as the Moore farm lease, adjoining the larger acreage.The newly acquired Sloan Zook 421'iicrc tract includes 75 producing wells totalling a daily output of about 40 barrels of Pennsylvania crude oil.The Moore farm lease was bought from Fred Tapp and Frank Stephan, both of Olean. They have owned the property for about two years. Twenty-four wells are rated at a total output of 12 barrels a day.
