A woman wearing a long coat with a heavyj black veil ever her face wasIseen to enter the home of William Blackford, of Kokomo, during their absence last Friday afternoon with a bundle in her arm. She came out shortly and hurriedly disappeared down the street. When Mrs Blackford re-turned she found a sleeping baby upon j the davenport with two clean dresses and two bottles of fresh milk by its! side. The Blackfords are tenderly caring for the little one but will turn it over to some foundling asylum.
