Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Miller have returned from a wedding trip to North Georgia. North and South Caolina and will be at home with Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Willis.Mr. and Mrs. Fred Thaxton, of Griffin, announce the birth of a daughter who has been named Leola. j Mrs. Thaxton was formerly Miss, Lilian Redman, of this city. jMr. and Mrs. J. T. Copeland, of Bremen, spent part of the week in Jackson. Mr. Copeland came here to look over the city with a view to lo- j eating in Jackson. While here Mr. | and Mrs. Copeland were shown many courtesies by people of the city.*
