That the comrades of this post regard our late Comrade Daves as a patriotic soldier and a true lover of his country when he was In its service.Resolved. That the country has lost one of its best ex-soldiers and this post one of its affectionate comrades.Resolved, That we deeply sympathize with his bereaved family whom he left to mourn his loss, and we tender them the assurance of our sympathy and participate in their sorrow.Resolved.
