Baptism Unites 4 GenerationspTURNERS FAI«LS - Four.generations were represented at the baptism of Stephen Anthony Marino at Gra-ce Methodist Church, Turners Falls, Sunday.The son of Rev. Ralph A. Marino, pastor of Grace Church,I and Mrs. Marino, (the former Jacqueline Johnson) was* baptised by his great-grandfather, Rev. William T. Bennett of West Southport (Me.) Methodist Church. .Assisting at the setvice. and delivering tire sermon was Rev. G. Louis Johnsonof Caton (N, Y.) MethodistChurch, maternal grandfather.Seated in the congregation with Mrs. Marino and Stephen were Mr. Marino’s family, Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Marino and sons, Mark and Paul, of North Adams; Mis. William T. Bennett of West Southport, grandmother of Mr. Marino; Mrs. G. Louis Johnson of Caton, N.Y.; and Miss Judith Johnson, sister of Mi's. Marino. ’ Miss ‘Johnson arrived unexpectedly Sundayfrom Syracuse University whereshe is a-freshman.Following the baptism, three other parish babies recieved tlte Officiating. . *Baptised were: Wiiliam^Carl Brown, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William Carl Brown of Lake Pleasant; Miss Judith Ann-Fargo, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wavjand ''Fargo of Gill; and Miss Sheiyl Anne Stewart, daughter*of Mr. and Mrs. Gleiurj Stewart.of Lake Pleasant ‘Each couple' received a cer-'tJijcate baptism andMa-ripopresented a tion to each ‘mother, The carnations, given by Mrs. jSjfctte Ifutehiftson, were pres(?n|l3as symbols of the responsibility of tiie church toward the Christian upbringing of the child.
