60 Years Ago Tribune Files of Thursday, April 14,1960John Murray is pictured in the Tribune with a Black Angus calf which is thought to be part deer. The animal, which was born at the Murray farm 2 weeks ago, has ears resembling a deer and located in the back of its head. The animals tail also resembles that of a deer. Although its hide is jet black, the hide on the inner side of its rear legs is of a dark tan. For an animal of only 2 weeks old, it sure had the actions of a wild animal.James Timothy Murray was born at the Buffalo Center Hospital Monday, April 11, to Mr. and Mrs. James Murray. He tipped the scales at exactly eight pounds. He has a sister, Mary Colleen to welcome him home. His mother is the former Eleanor Anonson. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Earl Murray of rural Buffalo Center and Mrs. Clara Anonson of Joice.
