Social Events*Rev. and Mrs. J. P. Borg were very pleasantly surprised last Saturday evening by the members of their congregation coming in a body to their home, bringing with them delicious refreshments, it being the 4th anniversary of their wedding. As a token of their appreciation of the work of the pastor ahd his good wife they presented to them a purse containing $55.The evening was spent in music and social converse.Mrs. Will Oakes was very agreeably surprised last Friday evening by about twenty of her friends at the heme of Mr. and Mrs. Dave Clowser, a neighbor. They gave her a beautiful rocker as a slight token of their esteem for her. Delicious refreshments were served, games of various kinds were indulged in and the evening passed very pleasantly for all.
