The society proposes that a set ofsix stamps should! be issued, the denominationsand^d., Id,, 2d., 2id.,do oot know ofofany reason why stamps or a value should noit be issued, unless it be the increase in cost consequent on the number of plates that wouldto be manufactured Werequirethinkstamp collectors would as eagerly buy up the higher values as tie lower and probably with greater willingness. The Philatelists no doubt arrived at the denominations after doe deliberation and they might be said to know best but we believe that the issue would be a more satisfactory one if theId.,will6d**mps were id., Id., and 2*. 6d.
