This sprint is suuated on the side bit! above the refinery,- near the mouth of Pitbol* Creek Water- b#e been used from this spring all along, until Wednesday. boMbose usiojt had noticed a peculiartaste to it for s* me d *ys before the oil,was discovered on it. On Wednesday oil bubbled up qn-'te freely In the spring, and several barrels of th« preciou* fluid were gathered It is of 42} gravity* much better and far different oil from »hat need in the refinery, or run through rhe pipes of the Tubing Co. Gas arises from - the spring in such quantities that when a ligh«ed match is apt tied it burns readily.
