Owing to the scarcity of timber,Ruby Thompson cut his foot prettyseverely last week.Mi’s. James S. Smith presentedher husband with a fine girl baby onthe BOth.The many friends and relatives of Uncle Wallace McKinney, met at his residence on Monday the 30th to remind the old man that he was 80 years on that day. Mr. McKinney is in good health, and bids fair to live many years yet.Mr. I. T. Payne, measured thedepth of the mud between this placeand Terre Haute this week.An infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Byhu Drake, was buried on the 29that Fairbanks.Mrs. Kate Lovelace is still in verypoor health.Ed. W. Harris and W. Z. Payne were in the thriving city of Sullivanon the 30th inst.
