Honore Li* garde for state senator of the 21st Senatorial District.Gibolo Grange Sponsors “Meet the Candidates” NightClbolo Grange No. 1G41 will sponsor a “Meet the Candidates” night April 12 at 7:30 p.m. at the Clbolo Community Hall,Ethel Pahmiyer of the grange said “numerous candidates for state and county office In theMayor J. C, Martin Jr., club chairman, said the club would “use its best efforts to help Ligarde get elected to the office of senator.**His long record of dedicated service to the state as a legislator certainly qualifies him as the best candidate, and that record is evidence of his deep concern for the advancement of the people of South Texas,” said Martin.The Independent Club has long been a powerful organization, not only in its home county erf Webb, but also throughout the region.
