• X V «? »■ I* * ^ — —KAPEOHI) ELLIS TUKNEK was born on the river road four miles below this city, .Inly 5, 1817, and feels as though he had lived there a long while. His parents crossed the Ohio river in 1808, landing at the Oatman A Fountain ferry landing, a mile below the city limits and settled on a farm in that neighborhood, Kadford E. Turner has lived on his present farm since 1880 and by strict industry and good habits has acquired a comfortable home. He and his wife have six children, three girls and three boys, all married except one. Mr. Turner’s father was a white man, his mother being a mixture of Indian anti African blood.Al'fll'ST Wt’N DKIililCII
