The first Bible lesson of the series to be given by Miss May N. Blodgett will be held this afternoon at 4 o'clock in the Bush auditorium of the First Baptist church. On account of Miss Blodgett’s former visit and her splen did record as a Bible teacher and leader throughout the country, a large audience is anticipated. Everyone is invited to all the meetings. The board of directors of the Young Women’s Christian Association take it his opportunity to thank most heartily Mrs. Rowley, Mr. Clarke, the members of the Rowley orchestra and everyone who took part in Mobile Belles and Tableaux Vivants, making it such a splendid success in every way. The Easter egg hunt to take place at the Irwin homestead, corner Gov ernment and Charles streets, Saturday, April 8, at 3 o'clock, promises from preparations and reports to be a most enjoyable affair not only to the chil dren, but the “grown-ups” too will share in the pleasure. Three real live bunnies with pink eygs will be award ‘eg to the three groups of children— the tiniest to four years, four to eight, and eight to twelve—finding the great est number of colored eggs. Those in charge of the various amusements are rs. J. Julian Bartee, Mrs. Henry Hall Clarke, Mrs. Arthur Yerger, Mrs. Frank Parker, Mrs. Jack Ross, Jr. Mrs. T. K. Jackson, Mrs. Norwood Richards and Mrs. James Sawyer. Every one is most cordially invited to the “hunt.” Saturday morning at half past eleven o'clock the finance committee met with Mrs. Frank Parker. Impor tant plans were perfected and the meeting was a great success. The lunch room committee, Mrs. George A. Leftwich, chairman, will meet at the Association building Mon day morning at half after eleven. The house decoration committee, Miss Augusta Hooks, chairman, will meet at the Associatio building Tuesday morning at 11 ock. The following classes and clubs will meet as usual: . Y W. C. A. Reading Club, Monday, at seven. Children’s Study Class, Monday at seven. L. U. B. A. Club~Japanese party, Tuesday at eight. Tennis Club, Monday at four. Thursday Evening Bible: Class at seven.
