Harrlhan, wife of the vice president and general manager of the Illinois Central road, who frequently visited Freeport when her eon, W. J. Harrl* han, was located here as division superintendent of the Central:Mre. J. T. Harahan, the wife of the vice president and general manager of tho Illinola Central railroad, died at 6 o’clock Wednesday morning in Memphis, Tenn., at the home of her son-in-law, A. N. Dale. She was enroute to 'Chicago from Pass Christian, Miss., whore she had sought health, when death overtook her.Pneumonia waa the direct cause of death, although a complication of dls* eaaoa hastened the end. Mre. Harahan will be burled today at Nashville, Tenn, in the family lot.The deceased had been 111 for some months. Dec. 26 she waa foroed to submit to a severe operation. Two months ago she was attacked by pneumonia while still very weak. She never fully regained her strength. Just three weeks ago her husband took her south In hopes that the warm climate would help the Invalid. The change did her no good and they started onthe home journey, but Mre. Harabenn il Ml. 1. \.___became so low they were .obliged to stop at Memphis.Mre. J. B. Shirley, of this city, and Mre. A. M. Dale, of Memphis, the daughters of the deceased, were with their mother when death oame.The
