City to close Curran St.To make way for US 534 construction. Curran will be closed for an undetermined amount of time beginning Monday morning.City officials are asking motorists to use Gertrude as a detour, but to avoid Roosevelt Ave. because of already heavy traffic congestion.In conjunction with the closing, four-way stops will also go into effect at Gertrudeand Agency am. Curran and Agency at 9 a.m. Friday.( itv officials also said the stop sign on the west side of the Gratton street intersection south of Agency will be moved to the east side.The closing and changes are being made in conjunction with construction of a US 534 freeway overpass on Curran.
