PAVING CREWS of the R. B Burch Construction Co. are laying rock base this week for the westbound lanes of the US 534 freeway between Osborn and Roosevelt. They'll make a 'return' trip over the eastbound lanes, pave the stretch and have the section open for traffic by mid-fall, according to plans. (Photo by JOHN GRAM)
