Irene M. RohrGOODLAND — Irene M. Rohr, 70, died Monday, Sept. 28, 1998, at the Goodland Regional Medical Center.She was bom April 17, 1928, in Catherine to Alois and Rose (Meier) Staab. She attended school in Catherine.She married Elmer Rohr on May 29, 1946, in Catherine. They moved to Goodland in 1964. She had been a restaurant cook for 15 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and altar society, and Good Samaritan Volunteers.Survivors include four sons, Robert, Darrell, and Tom, all of Goodland, and Bill, Colby; a daughter, Gloria Elliott, Goodland; three brothers, A1 Staab, Denver, Matt Staab, and Walter Staab, both of Hays; a sister, Tina Goetz, Hays; 21 grandchildren; four grandchildren.She was preceded in death by two brothers, Eddie and Lawrence Staab.Services will be at 10 a.m. Mountain time Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Father Daryl Olmstead officiating; burial in the Goodland Cemetery.A community scriptural wake is at 7 p.m. Mountain time today at Koons Chapel, Goodland. A rosary is at 8:30 a.m. Mountain time Thursday at the church.Visitation is until 8 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.Memorials are suggested to the Irene Rohr Memorial Fund.
