Colbertiftobert and Jean Colbert of 3115 New Butler Road celebrated their 50th anniversary as best man and maid of honor at their daughter’s Sept. 30, 2000, wedding.Tthe couple renewed their vows, he gave her a new wedding band and ttd also sang “The Wind Beneath My Wings.” The Colberts were also honored at their daughter's reception..tyr. Colbert and Jean Turner were married Sept. 30, 1950, in Center Presbyterian Church. The Rev. William Holmes officiated.Mr. Colbert was a maintenance supervisor for the state of Pennsylvania, retiring in 1987. He enjoys fishing, hunting and gardening.Mrs. Colbert s hobbies include baking, cooking and doing puzzles. They are members of Faith Country Chapel and the Coachman’s Club.jhe Colberts are the parents of Stacy L. Brown and Robert D. Colbert. Twin granddaughters complete the family.
