[tPLEASANT SURPRISENearGiven Mrs. Batt Moore Avoca;r-th in rs-:r-nd d :w on ur ok sv-i«nalanSunday, Sept. 26th, being Mrs. Moore’s 50th birthday anniversary quite a number of her kindred and friends with well filled baskets went to her home.Mrs. Moore being out auto riding her friends hastily prepared a talble under the trees in thev 9yard.When Mrs. Moore and husband returned great was her surprise. 150 people stood abound the table and after Bro. Burch returned thanks all enjoyed the great feats. Mr. Jackson, of Bedford, made a photograph of the crowd after which the young people sang “Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow,” followed by prayer by Bro. Will Moore.
