PiersallDale and Laura Piersall, Cedar Rapids, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next Sunday, Oct. 4, with an open house and dance from 6 to 10 p.m. at Hofer’s Danceland, Walford. The couple were married Oct. 4, 1942.Their son and daughter-in-law, James and Monica Piersall, and their grandchildren Matthew, Valerie and John Piersall, will host the event.The former Laura Cecelia Swenka, Riverside, and Dale Piersall, Cedar Rapids, were married at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church by Monsignor James Kearn, Cedar Rapids.All friends and relatives are invited.
