Hardsog, Natives of Germany, Have Been Companions Half Century.Seventy-two years ago in the little village of Bushendurf, Germany, John Frederick Hardsog and Mary Elizabeth Kuhn first saw the light of day. John was born June 3, 1S3’9, and Elizabeth was born September 23 of the same year.Six years later their parents were members of a colony of Germans who left the fatherland for America., They crossed the Atlantic in a sail boat, the present type of big ocean-going greyhounds being undreamed of at that time.
