Mrs. Francis Apple celebrated her 71 birthday at her home at this place Tuesday. She has six sous and they were all present exeept Sherman who could not be here. A large table was spread in the yard and thirty-six sat down to do justice to the good things placed thereon. The boys presented their mother with a nice easy rocker. Those present were D. S. Apple and family of Oakland 111., Geo. Apple and family, Marion Apple and family, Lon Apple and family, A. Buchanan and family, Thomas Plew and family and Geo. Ross and family. May she enjoy many more suchdays.
