A very enjoyable evening was spent in the Pleasant Valley Hall Saturday, September 8th when Blanche and Webb Harrison celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary with their many friendsneighbours and relatives.Approximately seventy people attended the dinner, A three tiered wedding cake made by their daughters Zola aid Dorothy centered the table. It was decorated by Mrs. Irene Dobbyn and Mrs. Clarice Kranich of Michigan. Rev. James Scott asked the blessing and Mr. Dave Rody was Master of Ceremonies. Bill Reeves of M ichigan, brother of the bride, proposed theThe supper was followed by a dance in the Pleasant Valley Hall with music supplied by the Rainbow Valley Boys.The happy couple were the recipients of many lovely gifts, with the family gift being presented to them by their son-in-law, ErnestShannon.Relatives attending from out-of town were: Harold and Clarice Kranick, Josephine Dobbyn, Jackie and Sonja Dobbyn, Irene and Harold Dobbyn, Bill and Bob Reeves, and Iola Crawley all of Michigan: Evelyn Bassett, Marge and Barry Potts.
