LHSHomecomingFriday NightCrowning of a queen and ceremonies honoring Logansport’s first North Central Conference championship team and its coach will highlight Friday night's LHS homecoming football game.The school's 18 homecoming queen candidates will tour Logansport in a parade caravan before going to LHS Stadium for the game between the Berries and West Lafayette. 'The parade will'start at 6:45 p.m. at Fourth and High streets. It will move east on High to Sixth St., south on‘Sixth to Broadway, west on Broadway to Fourth St., south on Fourth to Market St., east on Market to East-gate Plaza and through Eastgate' to the stadium.-The candidates • will be driven around the stadium track upon arrival: The 1968 queen will be crowned by the Logansport Jaycees in half time ceremonies.The halftime program will also feature a ceremony, honoring Logans-port’s 1958 senior football players and their coach, Harvey Roberts. The 1958 seniors, helped LHS win its first NCCchampionship in history..The five 1 inalists in the queen contest will be announced Friday afternoon at LHS.Competing for the title are Car-inella Antonelli' Judy Brady, Diane Druck, Kathy Floyd, Claudia Gemi, Bonnie; -Gotshall,. AIT queen candidates..will receive gifts from Logansport Lumber, GoL try-Merrill Contractors, Pizza King, Happy Burger and’the Pharos-Tribune and Press. Finalists’.will receive gifts from Burger Chef, Hendricks Printing and Small Parts, Inc.Gifts will ‘ be presented to the queen by Fashion Shop, Ambers, Hooks, Plotners, Timberlakes and Co-Tronics.
