Family Celebrates 80th AnniversaryPEMBROKE — Mrs. Minnie Wood ell widow of late John E. Woodell and mother of nine children celebrated her 80th birthday recently.A surprise was the presence of her oldest son and his wife who had not been home in about seven years.Celebrating the occasion were Mrs. Pennie Bullard Maxton; Mr. and Mrs. Lacy C. Woodell, Clayton, New Jersey; Mrs. Annie Chavis and daughter, Rowland; Mr. and Mrs. Van Sampsonvand family; Mr. and Mrs. Fairley Woodell and family; Mrs. Maude Oxendine; Von Woodell, Braddy Woodell, Mrs. Nadyne Locklear and children of Lumberton; S-Sgt. and Mrs. Ehvood Lokiear and children of Tennessee.
