In 1885 she moved with them 1► Iowa where they puichased 160 acres of prairie land four mites south of La Porte City and erected a home and barns upon it The couple have five sons, Albert, Vinton; Kuno, La Porte City; Herman, Mt. Auburn; Louis, Jesup and Ted, Waterloo. They also have 28 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
