Ebbeskotte, daughter of Norbert and Sondra Ebbeskotte, was crowned district queen and will compete in February with nine other girls for the Ohio Pork Queen title.Rural Delphos woman crowned district queenCindy Ebbeskotte, 19, daughter of Norbert and Sondra Ebbeskotte of Rt. 2, Delphos, was recently crowned District Three Pork Queen in competition at Wapakoneta.She is Allen County Pork Queen and competed against women from Auglaize, Logan, Mercer, Hardin and Shelby counties.Ebbeskotte will be vying for the state title in February at the Dayton Convention Center during the Ohio Pork Congress. There are 10 districts in Ohio competing for Ohio Pork Queen.Judging at the district competition was based on an informal interview, an oral presentation and an ability to answer questions by judges after each girl’s speechAs district queen, Ebbeskotte received a silver platter and $50.Shelby County pork queen was runner-up.
