Correction. — It has gone the rounds of the press in Ontario and Quebec that Drs. Schultz and Brown have obtained the contract for supplying the Dawbon R^rute. It appears that these two gentlemen, in company with Mr Ross, travelled over the Dawson Route; andwheu they reached Ontario they gave a very favourable opinion of the route To be avenged of them for daring to speak, a good word of a Canadian route, or in endeavouring to encourage traffic, through our own territory, the.Globe at once fabricated the rumour that Drs. Schultz and Bown had obtaiued the coutractfor supply the whole. Seeing that it appeared in the Globe we need scarcely inform our readers that there is not a particle of truth inthe statement.—Norwtster.
