Bennie and Christine MidlerChristine and Bennie Muller —1940Christine and Bennie Muller — 2000Bennie and Christine Muller of Pe Ell recently celebrated their60th wedding anniversary. After the couple renewed their marriage vows at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pe Ell, a small family dinner was held.Christine Buergler and Ben Muller were married Sept. 14. 1940, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Raymond.Following the wedding, Bennie brought his bride home to the Pe Ell family dairy farm on which he was born.The couple are lifetime members of the Tacoma Men's and Ladies' Swiss Society, the Lewis-Pacific Swiss Society and St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pe Ell. He is also a lifetime member of the Chehalis Eagles.The Mullers' children and their spouses are Benice Muller-Cody, Kathleen and Frank Krafczyk, and Linda Amondson-Muller and the late Carl Muller, all of Pe Ell.The couple have seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
