Dauphins Will ObserveWedding DaMr. and Mrs. Arthur E. Dauphin are observing their golden wedding anniversary today, and will be guests of honor at an open house, Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the home of their son and daughter-in-law, 4Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dauphin, 501 North C St. Mrs. Dauphin’s mother, Mrs. Dwight Moody, and her sister, Mrs. Robert Fryer, will assist atthe event.Arthur E. Dauphin and Louie Ermine Thyfault were married by Judge Clyde Wyand, at Woodward, Okla., Sept. 23, 1914. Dauphin worked for tre Frisco Railroad at Enid from 1914 to 1916, asfireman, and then worked as a switchman for the Santa Fe from 1916 to 1954, when ill health forced his retirement.They now make their home on farm southeast of Arkansar*aCity. Mrs. Dauphin’s mother, Mrs. Nabbie Thyfault, who was present at their wedding, makes her home with them, and will be present for the open house.Dauphin is a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen, and Mrs. Dauphin belongs to the Auxiliary. She is also a member of the 1XL Needle Club and the Tuesday Afternoon Bridge club.Mr. and Mrs. Dauphin have oneson, Edward Dauphin, 501 North C St., and two grandsons, Bruce Dauphin, 16, and Mike Dauphin, 13.All friends and relatives are invited to attend the open house.MR.
