RobinettescelebrateLAVALE — Ralph and Henrietta Robinette will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in September.The couple were married Sept. 24, 1936 at the United Church of Christ in Glencoe, Pa., by the Rev.J. Earl Gindlesperger. Their attendants were the late Carl Bittner, brother of Mrs. Robinette, and Marjorie Meyers Hay.Mrs. Robinette, the former Henrietta Clarissa Bittner, is the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey M. Bittner. She worked at the Celanese Corporation, was an Avon representative and was also an assistant school cafeteria worker at the Corriganville Elementary School.Mr. Robinette is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles E. Robinette. He is a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was employed at the Celanese Corporation and retired from the Carpenters Local 1024.The couple are the parents of two children, Lynn E. Robinette, Corriganville; and Carolyn L. Robertson and husband, Bob, LaVale. They also have five grandchildren, Krista L. (Robinette) Creegan, Kirk E. Robinette, Kacey R. (Robinette) Whis-ner, Geneen L. (Robertson) Sivic, and Julie M. Robertson; andthree great-granddaughters.
