Sacred Heart Parish Observes 60th BirthdayI* mi i i ■ i ■ 1 ' ■The 60th anniversary of Sacred i Heart parish of Palos Park will I bo observed Sunday with solemnmass of jubilee at 11 :30 a. in.. followed by a chicken dinner. There will be a lawn festival in the afternoon and evening, Bishop Bernard J. Shiel will be present.The parish was established byFather Francis Anti in lST.'b '1 he old church was destroyed by lire in 19011 and the new edifice erectedi n 1904.The parish mission of St. Alphon-sus at Lemont; St. Patrick’s at Lament; St. James at Sag; bridge and at present St. Michael’s at Or-land Park, have been outgrowths.
