Sacred Heart Parish Observes 60th BirthdayThe 60th anniversary of Sacred Heart parish of Palos Park will be observed Sunday with solemn mass of jubilee at a. in., followed by a chicken dinner. There will be a lawn festival in the afternoon and evening- Bishop Bernard .1. Shiel will be present.The parish was established by Father Francis Anti in 187.1. the old church was destroyed by fire in 100.5 and the new edifice erected in 1004.The parish mission of St. Alphon-sus at Lemont; St. Patrick’s at Lament; St. James at Sag: bridge and at present St. Michael’s at Or-land Park, have been outgrowths.
